This USB cable is for connection of external USB devices with USB 2.0 Type B sockets (e.g. scanners or printers) to the USB Host (USB hub, Wall plug with USB, Computer or Notebook). Data transmission up to 0.48 Gbit/s.
Overview of USB Generations
The naming conventions for our USB cables have been updated to match the latest USB standards.
• USB 2.0 supports transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbps.
• USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 1 are now identified as USB 3.2 Gen 1, offering data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps.
• USB 3.1 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 have been renamed to USB 3.2 Gen 2, with transfer rates reaching up to 10 Gbps.
• The new USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 standard supports transfer speeds of up to 20 Gbps.
• USB 4 offers even higher speeds, with rates of up to 40 Gbps, along with better compatibility with Thunderbolt 3.
USB 2.0, USB 3.0, USB 3.1, USB 3.2, and USB 4 cables and devices are all compatible with each other when using either a USB Type-A or USB Type-C host interface.
